Creamy Ranch Dressing

This dressing will blow your vegan mind. It’s creamy, fresh and tangy with just the right amount of herby deliciousness. The miso replaces the salt and adds a dose of probiotics, too!

Ingredients

  • 1-1½ cups raw cashews

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 TBS apple cider vinegar (or red wine vinegar)

  • 1 TBS white miso

  • 1/4 cup vegan cream cheese (you can use store bought but I prefer my homemade cultured cashew cream cheese HERE)

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp ground black pepper

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 TBS chopped fresh parsley

  • 1 TBS chopped fresh dill

  • 1 tsp dried summer savory (or sub any herb you prefer)

Method

  • Place all ingredients, except the herbs and cream cheese, in a blender with one cup of the water.

  • Blend until smooth.

  • If you prefer a thinner dressing, add more water to your liking.

  • Add love! 💗

  • Add remaining ingredients and blend just a bit until mixed.

Makes about 2 cups. Enjoy!

NOTE: If you don’t have a high-powered blender, soak the cashews for about 3 hours first, then drain and rinse prior to blending. But if you really want to experience the best sauces, gravies, soups and of course smoothies, a Vitamix is a must! I’ve owned one for years and they are absolutely the best. 😊
