Blackberry Chia Jam

Have some extra berries you’re not sure what to do with? Make this! Amazingly, it’s only TWO ingredients. Of course you will need to ensure that your berries are sweet. Otherwise, you could also add some kind of sweetener, such as maple syrup which would work just fine.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz. fresh blackberries (preferrably organic)

  • 3 TBS white chia seeds (I used white chia seeds because they look so much nicer than black—they’re also great for baking when using ground chia seeds as an egg replacement)

Method

  1. Place the berries and the chia seeds in a food processor and process until the berries are broken up and the chia is combined. It really only takes a few pulses.

  2. Add love! 💗

  3. Place into a storage container and refrigerate overnight.

  4. Done! Easy peasy.

Makes about 2 cups. Enjoy!
